You are Belladonna Aaronson, née Bernays. In the autumn of 1932, you are travelling from London to Southampton for your 30th birthday and a horse show, when your night train unexpectedly stops at Bellworton, a small country town in the South of England. You don’t remember much about your childhood, but you lived there for a while before moving to London.

The story is set in a South England post Victorian world, in a low fantasy and art Déco-ish-style inspired by the Lovecraft books ambiance and by the Wicca. Chalkpoint Fall won’t be really horrific, but it won’t be a quiet journey through the countryside either.
The game combines gameplay with the conventions of visual novels and point-and-click games, with some side gameplay elements in order the player to feel more involved in the story.
